Making Sushi Rolls with Mme RachaelGrade 7/8C has been studying Japanese society in Social Studies. We’ve learned about some parts of life in Japan, and about the Japanese language. We also learned how to make sushi rolls (and then had to taste them, naturally)! Enjoying the beautiful weather in Mme. Pour explorer les différentes parties qui composent une communauté, nous avons fait une promenade communautaire avec nos amis de la classe de Madame Sydney. Nous avons également profité du beau temps pour lire des livres à l'extérieur avec nos amis. In social studies we started our new Unit on: “Our Community”. To explore the different parts that make up a community, we went on a Community walk with our friends from Madame Sydney’s class. We also enjoyed the weather by reading books outside with our friends. Enjoying some buddy reading timeFor buddies this week the grade 3/4’s taught the 6’s crazy eights!
