LOVE TO READ SPIRIT WEEK A HUGE SUCCESS! I love to read month ended with a week long school spirit event. Hats off to our students and staff for their amazing participation during the entire week. We had some extremely creative wacky hair from Jurassic park hair to pouring soda pop pony tails and an incredible turn out for National Pink Day with over 80% of the school body supporting Anti bullying by wearing pink. And of course, pyjama day is a great way to end the week, with kids just chilling in their comfy clothes and stuffies. Thanks you to the staff who coordinated our week's events and giving us a great opportunity for fun amidst a tough year! Superheros at ÉSMS!Wacky hair fun!Relaxing with pyjama day!PINK SHIRT DAY A GREAT REMINDER!Our school celebrated Pink Shirt Day this past Wednesday. Pink Shirt Day serves as a great reminder for all of us that bullying occurs and impacts numerous people in our school community and beyond. It also allows us to examine how we can have a role in not allowing it to happen by simply being kind and showing some empathy and tolerance to those who are different from us or those who we don't agree with on various topics! We appreciate our students and staff who try to practice this on a daily basis. VIRTUAL FAMILY MATH NIGHTOur school division has provided our K-6 families with a FREE virtual event that should be a ton of fun and reinforce important Math concepts all at the same time. A poster with more information is below. If you are interested, please email Mr. Watson by noon on Monday to reserve a spot. We also need to order the supplies each family will receive in advance, so please ensure you register by the deadline (Deadline: Monday, March 1 @ Noon). Thank you to Ms. Gay Sul (Divisional Math Coach) for organizing this event! We appreciate it. PAC HOT LUNCH MARCH 24TH |
