We would like to invite all grades 5-8 students to attend Amaze in Corn for an afternoon of winter activities including the snow maze, sledding, sleigh rides and campfire. This event will take place on March 2nd. We will be leaving the school at 11:45 and back at school by 3:15. The cost will be 20$ per student which includes entry fees and transportation. We ask that all students dress appropriately as they will be outside for the majority of the afternoon. This includes tuque, mitts, jackets, ski pants and boots. We will be eating lunch before leaving, however, we ask that students have a snack and a water bottle for the afternoon. Students not attending the outing are expected to be at school. You can pay for the trip using https://rrvsd.schoolcashonline.com/ If someone other than yourself will be picking up your child after school please let the school know. You can do so by contacting the office by phone at (204) 347-5255 or by emailing [email protected] Dear families, To help hot lunches run smoothly, we are asking families to please verify they have received a confirmation of their order. This will ensure that your child's order has been processed and a hot lunch will be available for them on the scheduled day. The students at ÉSMS were treated to a special visit from a couple of St. Malo Warriors for 'I Love to Read' month. Thank-you Thomas and Zach! Roots of EmpathyThe grade 5/6E class just recently got a visit from their Roots of Empathy baby, Haisley! This month we discussed emotions and how Haisley shows those emotions in her body. We got to see her roll over and even got to meet her big brother Huxon! We’re very excited to see how much more she’ll have learned when she visits us again next month! 3/4F learn about magnetic forceStudents in Mme Charm’s class are learning about the magnetic force. They are using different types of magnets to test out different materials to learn which are magnetic and which are not. They are also learning how some magnets are stronger than others.
