In maternelle, throughout the month of November, we are learning to name our body parts in French. Here we are playing a game of BINGO to help us with that vocabulary. We are having lots of fun! Our grade 5 and 6 classes have started working with our "Thrival Kits". The kits are a project that was created by the Canadian Mental Health Association and Manitoba Advocate for Mental Health (Winnipeg-Manitoba) to promote the mental well-being of children. The project is presented by teachers in school classrooms and shows children how to develop positive coping strategies that help them understand what makes them special and unique, and helps them develop tools to cope with events and emotions of life.
